To prevent slow network log-ons, keep user profiles below 20Mb.
As the user logs on, their profile's data is transfered accross the network to their pc from the server(i.e. My Docs) . The bigger the profile, the longer it takes the user to log on. A 10Mb profile will log on pretty quick, while an 80Mb profile will take a quite a few minutes to log on.
